ISLAND BUZZ
THE LOST QUEEN

THE LOST QUEEN....Born into a dynasty of Macedonian rulers in Egypt, Cleopatra had used her intelligence, ambition, and skills of seduction to rise to power. She spoke multiple languages, raised fearsome armies, and had affairs with two of the Roman Empire’s most powerful men — Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
With her armies defeated and her husband Antony dead by suicide, Cleopatra had nowhere to turn. She feared that she would be captured and paraded through Rome in a humiliating demonstration of his power. According to legend, Cleopatra decided to end her life. But did she really kill herself with a snake? In the end, we may never know for sure how Cleopatra died. Much of the story remains a mystery and her remains never found.
